You dwell in the past.
I live in the present.
The past you talk about is irrelevant to me.
This present I live in means nothing to you.
You expect me to go back in time and undo things already done.
I expect you to move forward and accept them as they are right now.
And unless time collides,
we'll just never see eye to eye.

Hi stumbled upon ur blog, love the pictures and this poem - the frst two lines made me quickly sing "tomar holo shuru amaar holo shaara" in my mind and then :is this unto an ex or about generation gap?I went away wondering...(meaning ur poem made pple wonder :) )
^ Thanks, Trisha :)
"tomar holo shuru amaar holo shaara" - is that bengali? what does it mean?
And no, the message wasnt directed at an ex nor was it about generation gap...it's about a friendship gone sour.
sums up the situation so well.. happens all the time..when two people do not connect
"tomar holo shuru amar holo shara" the line means that while life begins for you here, mine is in the process of winding up...its the original for "chhu kar merey manko" wh borrowed the tune from this Tagore song :)
I still love the poem it has many layers, really lyrical.
absolutely luvly..!!! n here's ma official HI.. :)
@ Lakshmi: Thanks :) You just cant force some friendships to work.
@ Trisha: Thanks :) That's a beautiful line...I've GOT to hunt for the entire original song on the internet...it sounds lovely. And "chu kar mere man ko" is a classic.
@k.o.c.h.u: Thanks...and a HI to you too! :)

Nice lines. I can relate to them. Just stumbled upon your blog. Your photoblog is also very good. Keep it up. I have also been thinking about starting a photoblog for quite sometime now, but hardly can manage time. Anyways, it was a pleasure to know you (whatever bit one can know from a blog). And keep writing.
